Welcome to A-New-Dawn.org, a Wheel of Time Community.

Here at A-New-Dawn.org, we provide our membership with a structured environment in which to interact and become acquainted with members from all kinds of different backgrounds, cultures and nationalities.

You may ask yourself "why on earth should I join this site? What does it have to offer me?" Unlike many other Wheel of Time communities, we welcome members as young as thirteen years of age into our membership, and encourage them to work towards raising without such limitations as a minimum age requirement. We have done away with the idea of a "wait time" for raisings, believing that as long as a member has fulfilled the other requirements and proven that he or she is mature, that raising should be immediate.

Our unique administrative set up is organized into four departments: the Tower, the Garrison, Membership and Site Services; these departments are overseen by one member of the Administrative Council, a body led by the Tamyrlin.

Rather than allow ourselves to be limited to such commonly used relationships as "near-siblings" we have created three bonds unique to our site, making a total of four when the Warder Bond is added into the equation. The Sai Bond, derived from Saidin and Saidar, is a bond between two channelers who feel a close bond of friendship. The Aetha Bond, a term meaning “Shield” in the Old Tongue, is a similar bond, but between two non-channelers. Our Ko’di Bond, taken from the term “Ko’di” meaning “oneness,” is unique to our site, a bond between three or four people who feel they as close as a family to the other members of their Ko’di.
